Alom-hill

At the viewpoint of Dream Hill, there is an excellent panorama overlooking Sopron, Sopronbánfalva, the Bucklige Welt region, and in the distance, the towering Schneeberg and the Rosalia Mountains. There are benches at the viewpoint for visitors to comfortably enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

On the top of Dream Hill, in the 19th century, there used to be a gloriette built in 1886. Today, the landscape has changed somewhat: standing here is the reinforced concrete tower of the Geodynamic Observatory of the Geodetic and Geophysical Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
