Cyclamen Nature Trail

The Cyclamen Nature Trail is not only the first of its kind in the Sopron Mountains but also in the entire country, winding nearly nine kilometers with minimal elevation gain from our hotel all the way to Sopronbánfalva, traversing landscapes typical of the mountain range and forests.

Accessible in every season, the trail is particularly enchanting from July to September when the namesake forest cyclamen blooms abundantly along the path, offering a colorful display of this strictly protected flower.

Starting from the Lőverek Park Forest and passing by the Deák Spring, we ascend to the saddle of Károly-magaslat, from where we reach the secluded Hármas-forrás (Triple Spring) in a wild environment at the intersection of the Hétbükkfa trail. Continuing past ancient burial mounds, we arrive at the Várhely Lookout Tower to enjoy the panoramic view before descending to the outskirts of Sopronbánfalva, refreshed by the waters of the romantic Szent György Spring.
