Károly Lookout Tower

From the popular Károly Lookout Tower and several other high points, you can observe Sopron and the area around Lake Fertő. The Károly Lookout Tower was built in 1935 in a modern style of the time. Access to the solid, 23-meter-high tower, built of stone, is possible for a fee (500 HUF, students, seniors: 300 HUF). (During the summer months, it is open every day from 9 am to 8 pm, until 7 pm in September, until 6 pm in April and October, and closes at 4 pm from November to March).

Visitors can learn about the life of the forest, and the changing seasons offer special attractions for those who come here, such as the awakening of spring, the richness of summer, the autumn foliage, and the snowy winter forest.
