Myrafälle Waterfalls
Located in Muggendorf in the Vienna Alps, the Myrafälle Waterfalls cascade down from a height of 125 meters into the depths below.
The waterfall originates from the Myrabach stream, which rises in the Unterberg, a hollow limestone mountain about 7 kilometers away.
Visitors can follow the roaring water along 26 winding bridges, boardwalks, and stairs, where five million liters of water plunge into the depths every day. During the snowmelt season, nature's spectacular play is particularly impressive.
Moreover, at 11 thematic stations, visitors can learn all about the local wildlife and how energy was once harnessed from the power of water here. This destination will be especially interesting for families with children. The little ones will surely enjoy the wildlife enclosure, the large playground, the climbing park, the water playground, and the adventurous rafting on the Myrateich Lake.
